(Until It Wasn’t)
An attempt to create a song for Tracy grew into an album and eventually, The 207 Show. Chip shares how the project began, then returns to a time when he had stopped looking for someone to change his life. One ordinary night, one profile, and one simple message changed it anyway.

The rest of the story
Follow the album, one chapter at a time.Headed North
After more than 30 years in Texas, Chip had three weeks to pack up his life and head north. What followed was more than a move: a difficult goodbye, four days on the road with his brother, and the quiet realization that sometimes doing the right thing means leaving behind a life you still love.
It Felt Good
Starting over in Maine meant a new job, an empty house, and a life that was slowly beginning to feel alright. Then Tracy showed up with a six-pack and dinner, and a night meant for unpacking turned into hours of conversation. Chip didn't know where any of it was going yet. He only knew one thing: it felt good.
All In
The first six months weren't defined by one big moment, but by dozens of little ones. Backroad drives, summer days, nights at the VFW, family, friends, and new experiences slowly intertwined two lives until somewhere along the way, Chip realized he wasn't falling in. He was already all in.
Texas In Her Eyes
After six months of hearing Chip talk about Texas, Tracy finally called his bluff: stop talking about it and take her there. What followed was more than a trip through the places he loved. For the first time, Chip got to see a piece of his own life through her eyes.
Right Foot Down
Coming home from Texas didn't slow anything down. Within weeks, a quiet house became a home filled with kids, pets, family, and the chaos of two lives becoming one. By Christmas, Chip began to realize that the life he came back to Maine hoping to find was already taking shape around him.
Back When It Was New
Everything still felt like a first: holidays, road trips, new traditions, and experiences they were discovering together. But as one last piece of Chip's old life drove away, he began to see just how much his new life had taken its place. Looking back, those were the days when every first was something they shared.
I Had A Plan
Fifty people, color-coded schedules, and every day mapped out from beginning to end. But while everyone else followed the itinerary through Greece, Chip was carrying a plan of his own. Somewhere high above Delphi, that plan would change the rest of their lives.
When Life Got Hard
They came home from Greece engaged and ready to build a life together. Instead, four months of dust, chaos, family tension, and a house torn apart pushed everyone to their limits. When the walls finally went back up, Chip realized they had built something far more important than a home.
Then It All Went Quiet
After months of chaos, the house was finished and life finally had room to breathe. Family, Friday nights, road trips, holidays, and plans for what came next filled the life Chip and Tracy had worked so hard to build. They were finally living it. Then, almost overnight, it all went quiet.
Wings Were Clipped
The world had closed down, the passports were useless, and the plans Chip and Tracy had made suddenly disappeared. So they learned to make something out of smaller days, until a road trip offered the first taste of freedom again. Their wings had been clipped, but they never stopped looking toward the next place they might fly.
We Got Lost (July 11th)
Nineteen days in Italy with no maps, no rules, and nowhere they needed to rush. Chip and Tracy wandered from Venice to Florence, through Tuscany and into Rome, where one morning on July 11th turned an unforgettable trip into something much bigger. They got lost along the way, but every road seemed to lead exactly where it was supposed to.
I’d Choose You Again (Tracy’s Song)
The album’s story comes full circle with the song that started it all. Written for Tracy, it became the beginning of A Love Worth Living and a reflection on their shared life and the love at its heart.
The Bonus Tracks
The album was finished, but there were still things left to say. Chip closes Season One with two songs that came afterward: one that returns to a difficult chapter with new perspective, and another born from one of the hardest goodbyes of his life.
